In June, Holy Trinity Peace Village Kuron successfully conducted the inception meeting for the Potable Water Access (WASH) Project. The meeting brought together community members, local leaders, and project beneficiaries to officially introduce the project, its objectives, and its expected impact on the community.

The community warmly welcomed the project and expressed appreciation and commitment to supporting its successful implementation. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared their views, and highlighted the urgent need for safe and reliable access to clean water.

Supported by the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), the project will be implemented over a period of three years. It aims to establish a motorized water system that will improve access to potable water, promote better health and sanitation practices, and enhance the overall well-being of households within the target communities.

The strong participation and positive response from beneficiaries demonstrated a sense of ownership and readiness to work together throughout the project period. Community members also pledged their cooperation in ensuring the successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the project.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all community members, local leaders, stakeholders, and partners who attended the meeting and contributed to the discussions. Their support and collaboration will be vital in achieving the project’s goals and ensuring lasting benefits for the community.
